List of modules

Each project based on the MagicWebDrive system consists of several modules, which provide the client with the functions they require.Certain modules are fundamental and present in each project (such as Structure and pages, Files, Services, etc.).More than 20 optional modules assist users in the intuitive administration of special data types (e.g. Databases, Discussions, MagicShop, etc.)In this section, the properties of the individual modules are briefly described.

	Structure and pages This is the fundamental module of each installation. It allows for the intuitive administration of both the structure and individual pages of the presentation. MORE

	Files This is used as the main "storage" of files used by other modules. It has all functions usually found in file managers. MORE

	Users This module is used for the administration of users and user groups. MORE

	Rights This module enables you to set specific access rights for different users and user groups to work with modules or their parts. MORE

	Databases This unique module enables users to create simple to complex relational databases with the aid of a web-browser interface. When a database is created, its administration interface becomes automatically available. MORE

	Sections and articles An extensive news server can be created. All functions necessary for the efficient administration of articles are provided. Support of the workflow multilevel publishing process is included. MORE

	Picture gallery Intuitive administration of images in tree-structured galleries is enabled. The module can be used for the administration of photograph series, e.g. from company events, reference work, etc. MORE

	File gallery Intuitive administration of files in tree-structured galleries is enabled. This module can be used for the easy creation of a categorised publicly-accessible file archives. MORE

	Link gallery Intuitive administration of links in tree-structured galleries is enabled. This module can be used for the easy creation of a categorised publicly accessible link catalogues. MORE

	Quiz module A highly sophisticated module for the administration of testing files, from a simple quiz to extensive e-learning test applications. It has been successfully applied in many company intranets. MORE

	Print An easy tool to determine on which pages a "print" icon or link should be displayed. MORE

	Export Any database table can be exported to CSV or XML format. MORE

	Calendar of events This sophisticated module enables users to administer databases of events, including the type and availability of entrance tickets. It can also be used as a ticket-booking module. MORE

	Fulltext search This module adds fulltext to search options. It searches not only within the website pages, but also linked files in RTF, DOC, TXT and XLS format. MORE

	CD-generator This unique module generates the project contents in a format suitable for CD-ROM. An "autorun" file is added, ensuring automatic execution of the presentation when the disc is inserted in the CD-ROM drive. MORE

	Map of server This module lets you decide which pages should be included in the map of the server. MORE

	Extranet This module is used for administering information about the website visitors. It provides a very intuitive interface for setting which pages should only be made available to visitors after being successfully authorised. MORE

	Approval and versions An extension of the Structure and pages module to include support for a workflow publishing process. MORE

	Product catalogue This simple module enables users to easily administer a hierarchical structure of their product catalogues. MORE

	Opinion polls This module enables users to create and statistically evaluate the results of opinion polls. The polls can be loaded into the system at any time in advance. They are automatically displayed to visitors at pre-set times for both the beginning and end. MORE

	News This is used for the administration of news databases. For example, such databases can be used for differentiating between front page headlines and product news for partial products. MORE

	Emailer A highly sophisticated module for e-mail campaigns. Personalised e-mails can be sent to groups of addressees; an internal database, extranet users, or a Databases table can be used as the source of addressees. MORE

	Visitors' book Contributions from the website visitors can be stored and administered in a clear way. MORE

	Questions and answers Administration of hierarchical categories of questions and answers is enabled. MORE

	Discussions This module can be used to administer categories of discussion forums or visitors' contributions. It remembers the tree structure of contributions and responses. Both moderated and non-moderated discussion forums can be created. MORE

	AdController Users are provided with a wide range of tools for the administration of advertisement space on their servers. It enables users to define ad positions on pages, define advertisement sections of the server, banner formats, etc. Individual banners can be grouped into campaigns with the monitoring of statistical data. 	Statistics Visits to each page of the website can be monitored and statistically evaluated. MORE

	Language versions Administration of several language versions of a website. MORE

	Language detector The Language versions module can be extended to automatically select the website language version, for example, depending on the visitor's browser setting. MORE

	magicShop A highly sophisticated module for e-shop administration. Themonitoring of in-stock quantities, the creation of product packages and the administration of orders placed by visitors are enabled. MORE

	Task planning Time planning of different actions within the system can be administered. One-time or repeated actions can be set to be activated for pre-set time intervals. MORE
